High Speed 45Pcs/min One Head Servo Motor Screw Capping Machine With Cap Feeder Elevator Glass And Plastic Bottle Capper

CM100 Quality, Safety & Certifications — Engineered for Compliance, Built for Durability
Quality Is Not Inspected In — It Is Designed In

A packaging machine's certification labels only tell part of the story. The certificates confirm that a machine meets published standards at a point in time. But long-term quality — the machine that still holds torque accuracy after 10,000 hours, that doesn't develop rust spots after three years in a humid bottling hall, whose safety systems function reliably through thousands of production cycles — comes from design choices made long before a certification auditor arrives.

CE Certification

The CE marking on the CM100 confirms conformity with the European Union's health, safety, and environmental protection requirements for machinery sold within the European Economic Area. This is not a superficial declaration — it requires documented compliance with multiple harmonized standards:

  • Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC: Fundamental safety requirements for machinery design, including risk assessment methodology, safety-related control system reliability, and protective device specification.
  • Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU: The CM100's servo drive, VFD, and electronic controls must neither emit electromagnetic interference that disrupts nearby equipment nor be susceptible to interference from external sources.

For customers outside the EU, CE certification serves as a recognized benchmark of machine safety and quality — acknowledged by regulators, insurers, and safety auditors worldwide.

SGS Certification

SGS is the world's leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. The CM100's SGS certification provides independent third-party verification of:

  • Material composition (SUS304 stainless steel verification)
  • Manufacturing quality (weld integrity, surface finish, dimensional accuracy)
  • Electrical safety (ground bonding, insulation resistance, dielectric strength)
  • Functional performance (speed, torque accuracy, capping yield)

SGS certification is particularly valued in markets where independent verification of manufacturer claims is a standard business practice.

304 Stainless Steel Construction

The CM100 is fabricated from SUS304 (UNS S30400) stainless steel — an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel containing approximately 18% chromium and 8% nickel. This material choice is deliberate:

Corrosion Resistance: 304 stainless resists corrosion from water, mild acids (food products, cosmetic formulations), alkaline cleaning agents, and atmospheric humidity. It will not rust in normal packaging hall environments, even after years of exposure.

Hygiene: The smooth, non-porous surface of 304 stainless does not harbor bacteria, mold, or product residue. It withstands frequent cleaning with food-grade sanitizers and chemical cleaning agents without surface degradation.

Durability: Unlike carbon steel with applied coatings (paint, powder coat) that chip and expose the substrate, 304 stainless is the same material through its thickness. Surface scratches do not initiate corrosion. The machine maintains its appearance and structural integrity over decades of operation.

Safety Systems: Protection by Design

The CM100 incorporates multiple layers of operator protection:

Full Safety Enclosure: The capping head, cap feeder, and conveyor infeed/discharge areas are enclosed by a transparent polycarbonate guard with aluminum frame.

Interlocked Guard Doors: Access doors to the capping head area and cap feed mechanism are equipped with safety interlock switches. Opening any guard door during operation triggers an immediate machine stop.

Emergency Stop: Red mushroom-head emergency stop buttons are positioned at both the infeed and discharge ends of the machine, within easy reach of operator positions. Activation brings all machine motion to an immediate halt — servo motor, conveyor, cap feeder, and pneumatic cylinders.

Overload Protection: The servo drive, conveyor VFD, and all motor circuits include electronic overload protection. In the event of a mechanical jam, the affected drive trips on overcurrent before mechanical damage occurs, and the fault is displayed on the HMI.

24-Hour Pre-Shipment Testing

Every CM100 undergoes a comprehensive pre-shipment test protocol before crating:

  1. Mechanical Run-In: The machine operates continuously for 24 hours at rated speed with test bottles and caps, verifying that all mechanical systems (bearings, belts, chains, cylinders) function without overheating, excessive wear, or performance drift.

  2. Torque Calibration Verification: Torque accuracy is verified at multiple set points (low, medium, high) using a calibrated torque transducer.

  3. Cap Feeding Reliability: The cap feeding system is run for a minimum of 5,000 cap cycles, with jam rate and mis-feed rate recorded. The system must demonstrate a feed reliability of ≥99.5% before shipment.

  4. Safety System Function Test: Every safety interlock, emergency stop button, and guard door switch is individually tested for correct function.

  5. Alarm & Diagnostic Test: Each programmed alarm condition is simulated and the machine's response (stop, fault display, diagnostic message) is verified.

Product FAQ

Q: Can the CM100 meet additional certification requirements for specific markets?

A: Yes. For markets requiring additional certifications (UL for North America, CSA for Canada, EAC for the Eurasian Customs Union), we can arrange testing and certification through accredited bodies. Lead time and cost vary by certification. Please specify your market requirements during inquiry.

Q: What is the difference between 304 and 316L stainless steel for capping machines?

A: 316L stainless contains molybdenum (2-3%), which provides superior resistance to chloride-induced pitting corrosion. For standard food, beverage, cosmetic, and general chemical packaging, 304 stainless is entirely adequate. For environments with high chloride exposure (marine atmosphere, hydrochloric acid handling, swimming pool chemical packaging), or for pharmaceutical Water for Injection (WFI) systems, 316L is recommended and available as an upgrade.

Q: How do I maintain the machine's CE compliance after installation in my facility?

A: CE compliance is maintained by following the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, using manufacturer-specified replacement parts, and not modifying safety-related components (guard interlocks, emergency stops, electrical enclosure) without manufacturer approval. The user manual includes a compliance maintenance checklist.

Company FAQ

Q: Can I visit your factory to audit your quality system before ordering?

A: Yes. We welcome customer factory visits and quality audits. You can observe our manufacturing processes, review our quality control documentation, witness a pre-shipment test, and meet our engineering team. Please schedule visits in advance so we can arrange appropriate technical staff availability.

Q: What documentation do you provide for our own quality audit requirements?

A: In addition to CE and SGS certificates, we can provide: material certificates (mill test reports) for stainless steel, calibration certificates for test instruments, weld procedure specifications and welder qualification records, surface finish measurement reports, and electrical test reports.

Q: How do you handle a situation where a machine arrives with transit damage despite your crating?

A: Transit damage is rare due to our 1-5cm wooden crate packaging, but in the event it occurs: (1) Document the damage with photographs before unpacking. (2) Note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt. (3) Contact us immediately with the documentation. We will work with you to determine whether the damage is cosmetic (polish, touch-up) or functional (component replacement) and ship replacement parts or arrange a service visit as appropriate.
